Walmart to deliver Dunkin' drinks, food

Walmart is now delivering Dunkin’ drinks and food alongside its regular delivery orders, expanding the options for Northwest Arkansas shoppers. The Bentonville-based retail giant has partnered with Inspire Brands, Dunkin’s parent company, to integrate the coffee and donut chain into its delivery program.

This new offering is launching at the 150 Walmart stores that already house Dunkin’ locations, including stores likely familiar to folks around Bentonville and Rogers. Walmart plans to eventually extend the Dunkin’ delivery service to most of its 10,000 U.S. stores, giving customers nationwide a taste of their favorite breakfast items without stepping foot outside.

Customers will be able to order all this through their usual Walmart app or website, streamlining the process of adding a coffee or snack to a grocery order. Scott Murphy, Dunkin’ Brand President and Inspire Chief Brand Officer, explained that the move aims to make it easier and faster for people to enjoy Dunkin’s beverages and meals wherever they are.

This new delivery collaboration builds on Walmart’s restaurant delivery program that started earlier this year, adding another layer to its convenience-focused strategy. For Northwest Arkansas residents juggling busy mornings or late afternoons between school runs, work, and errands, this means grabbing a coffee and donuts from Dunkin’ while ordering paper towels or pet food in one seamless experience.

Walmart’s aggressive push to combine retail with food delivery reflects a broader retail trend but takes on special significance here, where Walmart’s headquarters have long influenced the economy and daily life. The addition of Dunkin’, a well-known brand popular in the region, neatly fits with other recent Walmart initiatives like expanding its grocery pickup and delivery services.

For those who have passed through Walmart stores on Walton Boulevard or in the Pinnacle Hills area, the ability to add a Dunkin’ order to their Walmart delivery is a practical win. Rather than making a separate trip to a coffee shop, customers can now save time and enjoy a familiar brand’s products alongside household essentials.

While Walmart continues to be closely associated with value and one-stop shopping, this partnership with Inspire Brands nudges it further into the food delivery arena, a space Sam Walton himself might have appreciated for its convenience to busy families.

This rollout complements other regional happenings where Walmart’s influence intersects with everyday life, like the recent Walmart AMP concert additions or ongoing Northwest Arkansas infrastructure talks, underscoring how much the company touches the community beyond just retail sales.
