The Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion (AMP) in Fayetteville is accepting design submissions for its 2027 collector tickets. The venue announced a design contest open to artists, designers, illustrators, and creatives of all experience levels, with entries accepted through October 18, 2026.
The winning artwork will be featured on collector souvenir tickets for shows throughout the 2027 concert season. Additionally, the design may be utilized on posters, passes, and other promotional materials connected to the Walmart AMP.
Officials emphasized that the selected design should capture the essence of the live music experience at the AMP while remaining versatile enough to represent the entire concert season. Suggested themes for the contest include music, community, Arkansas, and summer nights, aligning with the venue’s role as a cultural hub in Northwest Arkansas.
The winner will receive a $500 honorarium and the opportunity to have their work prominently displayed throughout the upcoming season. The Walmart AMP, a key player in Fayetteville’s live music scene, annually hosts over 30 concerts drawing tens of thousands of attendees to the region.
This contest follows ongoing efforts to engage local creatives and strengthen ties between the venue and the community. Since opening in 2005 near downtown Fayetteville, the AMP has become a significant contributor to the area’s cultural and economic activity.
The collector tickets previously featured designs that highlighted regional culture and aesthetics specific to Northwest Arkansas. By continuing this tradition, the AMP supports artistic expression that resonates with both residents and visitors.
Artists interested in submitting their work can find guidelines and submission details on the Walmart AMP’s official website. The deadline for entries is October 18, giving participants five weeks to develop concepts that meet the venue’s thematic criteria.
Submitting a design offers creatives an opportunity not only for exposure but also to be part of the AMP’s ongoing efforts to present live music as a dynamic and unifying experience for the Northwest Arkansas community.
