Walmart adding 7 Brew drink options nationally

Walmart is rolling out canned 7 Brew coffee drinks to 4,400 of its stores nationwide, bringing a Northwest Arkansas favorite to a whole lot of new customers. The Springdale-based company announced the launch Thursday, following a successful test run of its ready-to-drink beverages in Arkansas earlier this year.

7 Brew made its local mark with its drive-thru coffee spot in Rogers, which was the chain’s first location. Now, the bold, craveable flavors that have hooked fans at the stand are being bottled—or rather, canned—for people to enjoy anytime at home or on the go.

Chris Dawson, 7 Brew’s president, highlighted that moving these popular coffee blends into canned form is part of expanding access. “We’re taking the craveable flavors our guests love at the stand and making them available now in a format they can enjoy at home anytime,” Dawson said in the release.

The lineup includes three distinct coffee flavors: Blondie, with caramel and vanilla; Brunette Blondie, featuring chocolate; and Banana Bread, which blends banana with hazelnut notes. These options offer a nice variety for canned coffee drinkers, especially convenient in 12-ounce sizes perfect for a quick caffeine fix.

In addition to these coffee drinks, Walmart is introducing a new line of 7 Brew Energy drinks available in about 1,100 Walmart stores. These sugar-free energy beverages come in several fruit flavors, aiming to capture fans of energy drinks who want something a little different.

Honestly, this kind of product expansion is a pretty exciting development for a local brand like 7 Brew. It’s easy to imagine how in a place like New York or Chicago, canned coffees from a regional chain just getting started wouldn’t get this kind of national shelf space. But here in NWA, with Walmart’s headquarters nearby and a proven local base, 7 Brew’s candies to convenience store shelves across the country makes perfect sense. It’s a win not just for the company but for the area’s growing reputation as a hub for food and beverage innovation.

For 7 Brew fans in Northwest Arkansas, this means they won’t have to wait in drive-thru lines at Rogers or Springdale stores to get their fix. Instead, they can grab a 12-ounce can of Blondie or Banana Bread while grocery shopping for the week. That convenience will help 7 Brew keep pace in the crowded ready-to-drink coffee market that’s heating up with national chains and boutique players alike.

It also says something about the hustle behind this local chain. Starting with a single drive-thru location in Rogers and now distributing thousands of beverages in Walmart’s massive retail network is no small feat.

And the rollout aligns with broader trends in how people consume coffee and energy drinks. Ready-to-drink options are booming because they fit into busy lifestyles—especially for people who spend time commuting or working hard but don’t want to sacrifice quality or flavor.

Walmart, headquartered in Bentonville, obviously benefits from highlighting a homegrown brand like 7 Brew. The move strengthens the connection between the retailer and regional entrepreneurs, giving customers more reasons to shop locally even while Walmart’s reach extends nationwide.

Whether you’re heading into a Walmart in Rogers or across the country, seeing a 7 Brew can on the shelf will be a reminder of how Northwest Arkansas companies are making their mark beyond state lines.
