Visit Bentonville is settling into its new digs just off the city square, now open to visitors and locals alike. The organization moved into its 5,000-square-foot space at 125 W. Central Ave., Suite 200, in mid-March. With its official opening on the horizon, an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m., hosted in partnership with the Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The new office and visitor center, designed to better serve the influx of tourists and curious residents, offers a central location to access all things Bentonville. As the city continues to grow and attract attention, having a dedicated spot to learn about local attractions, events, and resources seems like a logical step. There’s more happening here than just Walmart news, after all.
Bri Nichols, the visitor experience coordinator for Visit Bentonville, was seen helping Dylan Morton, a Bentonville local, with mountain biking maps at the new center. It’s an example of how the organization hopes to enhance the visitor experience, with staff ready to offer personalized recommendations and guidance. Whether it’s pointing out the best trails or the latest happenings at Crystal Bridges, the team’s got you covered.
Visit Bentonville has been a fixture in promoting the city, and this new space is all about upgrading that experience. Nestled just off the busy square, it’s positioned perfectly for those wandering the heart of downtown. This accessibility means visitors can easily drop by after a stroll through the Farmers Market or a visit to the nearby Museum of Native American History.
The move to a more expansive location also signals Bentonville’s ongoing growth as a destination. With events like the Tyson Scholars of American Art program at Crystal Bridges drawing academics and art lovers, and the city’s efforts to address community noise complaints, Bentonville is increasingly on the map for more than just its corporate ties.
The open house aims to showcase the new facility’s potential to streamline visitor experiences and enhance the visibility of local attractions. With everything under one roof, from detailed maps to event info, it’s a welcome hub for anyone looking to dive into what Bentonville has to offer.
