Treyson Reith of Springdale Har-Ber High School is shaping up to be one of the standouts in the 7A West this football season. The senior wide receiver and tight end stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 230 pounds, combining size and skill that earned him six Division 1 college offers. Reith has committed to Columbia, a decision that reflects his rising profile beyond Northwest Arkansas.
Last season, Reith caught the attention of many with 863 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. His breakout performance came against Farmington, where he hauled in 193 yards and crossed the goal line three times, helping the Wildcats edge out a 35-21 win. In nail-biting matchups against regional powerhouses, Reith kept shining. He posted 124 receiving yards with a touchdown in a narrow 47-43 loss to cross-town rival Springdale High. Against Greenwood, he again found the end zone in a close 43-42 defeat.
Reith’s combined size and reliable hands make him a key target in Har-Ber’s offense. At their recent media day at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale, Reith stressed the team’s energy and work ethic as they prepare for the season. “It is going to be a fun football season and we’re excited to make some noise in the 7A West,” he said. “We all stay late after practice to run routes, and our entire team brings the energy. I like where our team is at.”
Springdale Har-Ber, which has been developing steadily into a regional contender, will count heavily on Reith’s ability to break through tough defenses in 2026. Local fans have already noticed his talent throughout the past year, especially during games played at home on Har-Ber’s field just off Wedington Drive.
Reith’s commitment to Columbia further underscores the increasing reach of Northwest Arkansas football talent. While Har-Ber isn’t quite the household name that Springdale High or Bentonville have been on the recruiting trail, players like Reith are changing that narrative with performances that draw attention well beyond the state lines.
