Swarm Aero has landed a $10 million government contract to advance its drone manufacturing at the new Fayetteville Advanced Manufacturing Center. The contract, awarded by the Air Force Research Laboratory, centers on research and development for a high-rate manufacturing process to produce aircraft parts for the U.S. Air Force.
The Fayetteville facility, which opened earlier this year in February, occupies 80,000 square feet of industrial space at Drake Field. This building was formerly the Key Tronic Corp. site, and now serves as the hub for Swarm Aero’s operations, including research, development, and production of unmanned aircraft.
The contract bolsters Swarm Aero’s role in the defense manufacturing scene in Northwest Arkansas, supporting the Air Force’s growing demand for efficient, scalable drone production.
