Multiple streets near the Fayetteville downtown square will close Friday to accommodate the annual Startup Crawl, an event designed to showcase Northwest Arkansas’ growing entrepreneurial community. The city of Fayetteville announced that Mountain Street and East Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., while Center Street and Block Avenue will be closed from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The Startup Crawl officially begins at 5 p.m. on the downtown square and is free to attend with prior registration. The event features numerous stops throughout downtown Fayetteville where attendees can meet local startup founders, observe product demonstrations, enjoy live music and drinks, and learn more about the region’s emerging businesses.
