The Naturals were limited offensively throughout the game. Northwest Arkansas struggled to string hits together, resulting in a piecemeal scoring effort. Their three runs came primarily from walks and timely hitting when runners were on base, but Springfield’s bullpen and defense limited further damage.
This result continues a challenging stretch for the Naturals, who remain below .500 for the second half and overall season. At 16-26 in the second half, Northwest Arkansas is looking to regain consistency as the final weeks of the season approach. Their overall record stands at 45-64.
