Pitcher Hunter Owen delivered the standout performance for Northwest Arkansas, pitching 6 1/3 scoreless innings. Owen allowed just three hits, struck out eight, and walked two to earn a 3-6 record on the season. His effort stymied the Missions’ offense, limiting them largely to scattered base hits until a late run.

San Antonio’s lone run came late in the game, with Jack Costello delivering an RBI-single with two outs in the bottom of the ninth. The score against Owen and the Naturals’ bullpen did not affect the result, as Northwest Arkansas had established a commanding lead.
