LIVE! A Music Calendar: Dierks Bentley, Ricky Skaggs come to Northwest Arkansas June 12

Country music artist Dierks Bentley will perform in Rogers on June 12 as part of his Off The Map Tour, alongside bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs and opening act Owen Riegling. The concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Walmart AMP, located at 5000 E. Pauline Whitaker Drive in Rogers.

Bentley, a multi-platinum recording artist, is known for hits such as “Drunk on a Plane,” “Somewhere on a Beach,” and “Gold.” His most recent album, Gravel & Gold, was released in 2023. The Off The Map Tour marks his return to live performance following a series of dates across the U.S. since last year.

Ricky Skaggs, a Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, brings over four decades of bluegrass and country influence to the stage. A mandolin player and vocalist, Skaggs has won eight Grammy Awards and continues to tour regularly. Opening the show is Owen Riegling, a rising artist from Canada who recently signed with Big Loud Records and has gained attention for his traditional country sound.

Tour Details and Ticket Information

Tickets for the June 12 event go on sale Friday, May 24, at 10 a.m. through AMPTicketing.com. General admission lawn seating starts at $25, with reserved seating available for $55 and $89. VIP packages, which include premium seating and exclusive merchandise, are also offered.

The Walmart AMP, formerly known as the Arkansas Music Pavilion, is an outdoor amphitheater that has hosted major touring acts since opening in 2019. The venue holds up to 9,500 attendees and features general admission lawn seating, reserved tables, and accessible viewing areas.

The Off The Map Tour is produced by Sandbox Presents in association with AEG Presents. It is one of several high-profile concerts scheduled for Northwest Arkansas this summer, which typically sees an increase in regional tourism during the festival season.

Why It Matters to NWA

Live music events like this one contribute significantly to the local economy. According to the Arkansas Arts Council, outdoor concert venues in Northwest Arkansas generated over $12 million in visitor spending in 2023. The Walmart AMP alone drew more than 75,000 attendees across 30+ events last year, making it one of the region’s top entertainment destinations.

For residents of Rogers and surrounding communities, the venue offers a large-scale concert option without requiring travel to larger cities. Past performers at the AMP have included Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, and Brothers Osborne — all of whom attracted audiences from throughout Benton County and beyond.

The influx of concertgoers also supports local businesses, including restaurants, hotels, and retail establishments along the Rogers strip near the venue. Area hotels often report increased occupancy rates during major AMP events, and several restaurants extend hours or add staff to accommodate crowds.

In addition to economic impact, live music plays a role in community engagement. The Walmart AMP operates under a city permit issued by Rogers, and event organizers work with local law enforcement and emergency services to ensure public safety. Noise ordinances and traffic management plans are standard protocol for all concerts at the venue.

As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, entertainment infrastructure like the AMP helps distinguish the region as a cultural destination. With a population exceeding 570,000 in Benton County alone, demand for large-scale events remains strong.

Those planning to attend the June 12 show are encouraged to review parking and entry guidelines posted on the Walmart AMP website. Gates open at 6 p.m., and all attendees must present a valid ticket for entry. Food trucks and licensed vendors will be on-site, and re-entry is not permitted once patrons leave the venue.
