Soul singer Leon Bridges has announced a performance at the Walmart AMP in Rogers, Arkansas, on Thursday, Sept. 23, 2027. The show serves as a stop on Bridges’ “Happiness Anytime Tour,” marking the artist’s return to Northwest Arkansas after establishing the region as a regular stop for major musical acts.
Gates at the outdoor amphitheater will open at 6 p.m., with the main set beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Music
Bridges, a native of Fort Worth, Texas, rose to prominence in 2011 with the release of his platinum debut album, “Coming Home.” The album introduced a retro soul sound heavily influenced by 1960s R&B standards. His recent work continues this trajectory with the album “Happiness Anytime.”
The new record blends Bridges’ signature voice with elements of funk, R&B, and psychedelic rock. A significant portion of the project utilized collaboration with the Texas-based band Khruangbin, creating a sonic landscape that differs slightly from his debut but maintains the melodic core identified with the artist.
