The Rogers Lowell Chamber will host a free community event this Saturday, Sept. 19, that spotlights the cultural diversity flourishing in Northwest Arkansas. Held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Butterfield Stage, 101 E. Cherry St. in downtown Rogers, the Free NWA Community Showcase brings together cultural food vendors, local businesses, live entertainment, and family activities in one lively gathering space.
The showcase is presented by PepsiCo and the Walton Family Foundation, in partnership with the City of Rogers. Visitors can expect to hear singing and dancing performances on the Butterfield stage, sample nonalcoholic drinks and foods representing various cultures, and browse vendor booths offering crafts, services, and community information.
In addition to the cultural and commercial exhibits, the kids Playard at nearby Railyard Park will be open, making the event accessible and enjoyable for families. Local organizations and businesses will display their offerings and community initiatives, providing a chance for residents to connect directly with those shaping Rogers and Benton County’s growing identity.
Admission is free, and no tickets are required to join the event. The chamber is actively seeking additional vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors interested in participating in this celebration of the region’s diverse communities. Booth spaces are available for businesses and organizations aiming to promote their products and outreach efforts.
This showcase reflects Rogers’ evolving role as a gathering point where cultural exchange and local entrepreneurship intersect. Just blocks from the energy of the Pinnacle Hills shopping district and the historic pulse of the Railyard, the event offers a genuine window into Northwest Arkansas’ communities and the people behind them.
As the afternoon unfolds, the air around Butterfield Stage will carry a mix of aromas—from spices and sweet treats at the food tents to the fresh scent of local crafts. The steady rhythm of live music and the animated chatter of festival-goers will fill the streets, underscoring the city’s commitment to inviting everyone to the table.
This showcase arrives at a time when Rogers continues to grow as a unique city, with a community fabric that honors its roots while embracing new stories and cultures. It adds another layer to the city’s calendar after recent developments like the opening of Whole Foods Market in the Pinnacle area and local campaigns helping food banks find support.
Whether someone stops by for a bite, a dance performance, or to learn more about the services from regional nonprofits, the event invites participation and connection. It’s a reminder that Northwest Arkansas’ strength is held in its people and their stories, told through food, movement, and shared space.
