Wedington Drive, which links neighborhoods like Meadows and Forest Heights to Fayetteville’s bustling core, already experiences a fair amount of congestion, especially during peak hours. Adding a popular fast-food draw to the corridor will undoubtedly bring more vehicles—and that’s part of the focus for planning officials.
The proposed driveway is a central issue because how vehicles get in and out of the Chick-fil-A lot can significantly affect safety and traffic backups.
