Coach Jeff Reynolds, who has been pushing the squad on climbing Bentonville’s competitive volleyball ladder, praised the team’s early chemistry. “The scrimmage gave us a good look at where our players are athletically and mentally before the season ramps up,” Reynolds said. “No passes were dropped and the communication on the court was as sharp as we’ve seen coming out of summer.”
While the scrimmage was a benefit event, drawing volleyball programs from across Benton County, Bentonville West confirmed their readiness to contend in a region known for developing tough, technically sound teams. The Wolverines have historically competed at high levels within 7A, and early results suggest they’re prepared for another strong campaign.
