A Night of a Thousand Sir Prizes: Drag, Roasts, and

Honestly, Fayetteville is gearing up for a night unlike any other. On Saturday, TheatreSquared at 477 West Spring Street will host “A Night of a Thousand Sir Prizes,” celebrating the life, “death,” and roast of the beloved Sir Prize. If you’ve ever wanted to dive headfirst into the local drag scene, this event promises an evening of unforgettable performances, laughter, and community spirit.

The event also marks the one-year anniversary of Big Top Collective, an innovative local group that’s been shaking up the drag scene in Northwest Arkansas. To honor this milestone, the night will feature a series of drag performances and roasts. Attendees are encouraged to put on their best mustache and light up a (fake) cigar to truly get into the spirit of the celebration.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for VIP ticket holders, who can enjoy a brunch buffet, a meet-and-greet with performers, and a signed Sir Prize print in addition to reserved seating. General admission begins at 6:30 p.m., with tickets priced at an affordable $5. If you’re looking for the full experience, VIP tickets are available for $25.

Look, events like these are what make Fayetteville such a special place. It’s not just about the performances or the humor—it’s about celebrating the vibrant, inclusive community that’s been fostered here. The drag scene in NWA has been growing steadily, and events like this highlight not only the talent but the sense of belonging the community provides.

So, whether you’re a longtime fan of the local drag circuit or just looking for something unique to do this weekend, “A Night of a Thousand Sir Prizes” is the place to be. It’s a chance to support local talent, enjoy some top-notch entertainment, and maybe even make a few new friends.
